2 women fall in drug bust

THE local police have arrested two women suspected drug pushers in an anti-drug operation in an east coast village of Zamboanga City, an official said Tuesday.

Zamboanga City Police Office spokesperson Joel Tuttuh identified the suspects as Brenda Abing and Clara Casiaman, residents of Talon-Talon village.

Tuttuh said the suspects were arrested around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday in a drug bust at Sunrise Drive, Logoy Grande, Talon-Talon.

He said the arresting team confiscated from the suspects four sachets of suspected shabu.

The suspects were detained and charges are set to be filed against them, Tuttuh said.
