“THE big day” as what others call it, a wedding ceremony will always be one of the most awaited and special event of every person’s life as it is a union of two people not only in the eyes of the law but also in the eyes of God.
From the color motif to clothes and set decorations, wedding trends vary every year and for this year a local wedding expert shares the latest wedding themes and styles preferred by couples for their “big day.”
“Simple and classic,” that’s how Dazzle by JP events and wedding owner Jong Paguia sums up the latest trends in wedding themes for 2015.
According to him, couples getting married right now tend to focus more on the details when it comes to their wedding themes.
One of the themes mostly opted by their clients said Jong is the “Royal wedding” theme: an elegant wedding entourage perfect for the King and Queen, for this theme most of their clients choose pastel colors such as light pink for their color motif.
Next theme is “Elegant rustic:” Jong explains that this theme is more for vintage lovers, highlighting old but classic styles.
Another commonly opted theme is the “Cherry blossom” which features the famous pretty pink flower commonly found in Japan.
“Couples right now want their weddings to be really well –prepared up to the last detail unlike before where weddings were just simple, right now they really splurge on it,” says Jong.
For some celebrity weddings this year, we can also recall that celebrity couple Dingdong Dantes and Marianne Rivera also had a royal theme for their wedding and a simple but classic theme for Paul Soriano and Toni Gonzaga.
