IT WAS a day to remember as the Ritz Hotel at the Garden Oases initiated their first Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
The Christmas lighting ceremony was led by managing director Jefferson W. Tan and HR manager Gina B. Santos.
"The 1st of December is always special to us. It is the day when we officially mark the beginning of the Christmas season with the lighting up of our Christmas tree," said Santos.
She said each one of the twinkling lights sends a new spirit of love, hope, and joy.
"The brightest light of all is the star of peace, expressing our hopes and prayers for peace, our families, our communities, our nation, and the world," Santos said.
She said Christmas is the time of the year when we associate it with joy, expectation, and wonder.
"It brings with it a warm glow that lights up the darkness and make our thoughts turn to family and friendship," Santos said.
"It is also a time when we begin to say goodbye to a year and to look forward with hope to a new year," she added.
Hotel executives, staffs, and guests attended the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.
