Christmas bowlfest on December 20


ALL systems go for the 2nd AFP-PNP Press Corps Christmas Bowling Tournament set at 1 p.m. of December 20 at the SM-Lanang Bowling Center.

Ben Jason Tesiorna, president of the AFP-PNP Press Corps in Southern Mindanao, said the activity aims to foster camaraderie and friendship among media practitioners covering the peace and order beat and the officers, women and men in the security sector.

He said the bowling tournament is free to all bonafide media practitioners.

Tesiorna said cash prizes are at stake with the champion team, taking home P10,000 while the runner-up will pocket P7,000 and the third-placer will settle for P5,000.

Cash prizes also await the male and female highest individual scorers.

The event is made possible through the support of Antonio "Tonyboy" Floirendo Jr., The Whitehouse Fusion Cuisine and Wine Lounge, Davao del Norte Governor Rodolfo del Rosario, Eastern Mindanao Command, AFP, Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, Globe Telecom, Smart Telecommunications Inc., Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, Senior Superintendent Vic Danao Jr., SM Lanang Bowling Center, Davao Oriental Governor Cora Malanyaon, 10th Infantry Division Philippine Army, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Task Force Davao and North Cotabato Governor Lala Taliño-Mendoza.
