GOVERNMENT forces have discovered an abandoned camp of the Abu Sayyaf in the hinterlands of Sulu, the military reported Monday.
The camp, in Barangay Langhub, Patikul, has 42 makeshift structures that can accommodate a hundred people, according to Ensign Ian Chester Ramos, Joint Task Forces Zambasulta information officer.
Ramos said among the items recovered from the camp are a solar panel, three solar headlights, four hammocks, two radio transceivers, water containers, battle dress uniforms and several automatic rifles.
