THE first tower of the One Lakeshore Drive, which will rise in Megaworld's 11.2 hectare Davao Park District (DPD) in Lanang, Davao City, is expected to be completed by 2019.
Suntrust Properties Inc., a subsidiary of Megaworld, is planning to build four 21-storey towers in the park's 7.2-hectare residential area.
Harrison M. Paltongan, president of Suntrust Properties said construction of the four-tower condominium cluster begins in 2016.
Suntrust started selling units in the first tower last November and units in the second tower last month.
Each tower will have 355 units with around 16 to 20 units per floor. Units available include studio, up to 27 square meters (sqm.) in size; executive studio, up to 20 sqm.; one bedroom, up to 50 sqm.; and two bedroom, up to 76 sqm.
One Lakeshore Drive will have a third-level amenity deck that features a 20 meter infinity pool, wood deck pool area, wet lounge, kiddie pool, outdoor fitness station, gazebo, children's playground, and pocket gardens.
At the ground level, there will be a business center, day care center, function rooms, and indoor fitness gym. A commercial area will be at the ground floor.
Paltongan said that of the 7.2-hectare residential area, only 35 percent will be occupied by the condominium project, with the remaining 65 percent reserved for open spaces, recreational area, and a one-hectare man-made lake.
