Enhancing skin's glow

SKIN care being superficial is already a thing of the past, as many people are getting more self-conscious as to how they should look from inside out.

That said, Flawless Face and Body Clinic is reaching out to more people in Mindanao so they could experience quality yet affordable skin care services.

Last Friday at SM Lanang Premier, Dr. Faye Candao, a resident doctor of Flawless, said skin deserves some degree of care, being the largest and one of the most important organs of the body.

"We should invest in taking care of our skin. Oftentimes, nakakalimutan nating pagtuunan ng pansin ang skin," she said.

With a fast-paced and stressful lifestyle, more people are looking for expert advice from the reputable skin care clinics either to bring back or enhance the skin's glow, Candao said.

Flawless business director Drew Donovan Mendoza said Dabawenyos can find the same services offered at some high-end clinics at Flawless for a fraction of price.

He added that non-invasive medical treatments are the company's "bread and butter" earning Flawless its reputation as a leader in bringing closer the world's most advanced skin care services to Filipinos.

In a press briefer, Flawless said it is the first to offer an all-in-one IV cocktail, known as the Beauty Drip; first to use an all-natural clinical facial to treat hyper-pigmentation, photo damage and premature aging, known as the All-Natural Ultimate White Facial; and first to make surgical threads accessible and more affordable with an anti-aging treatment, known as Acculift.

In addition to the top-of-the-line services, it has brought in Novexpert, the world's first skin care line to be 100 percent natural, hypoallergenic and biodegradable.

Mendoza pointed out that invasive treatments never appeal to the philosophy of Flawless owner and chief executive officer Rubby Sy, who aspires to enhance the natural beauty that each Filipino already has, and not changing it.

"It is more like enhancing what you have rather than changing what you have. It's bringing out the best expression of oneself," he added.

The clinic, however, has non-invasive aggressive procedures that can deliver fast and safe results.

"We do have some procedures that are very aggressive that you could see results immediately. There are less aggressive treatments that will take time, it's more of inside out. Cleaning your skin, making sure it's healthy rather than stripping it out and starting again," he added.

Founded on December 8, 2001, Flawless Face and Body Clinic has lined up its expansion plans in Visayas and Mindanao.

"To be honest, Mindanao is pretty untapped in terms of national beauty brands," Sy added.

Flawless is present in General Santos City franchised by Jinky Pacquiao and SM Lanang Premier. The branch at Centrio Mall in Cagayan de Oro City is set for reopening on March 25, 2015 while the KCC Zamboanga is opening this year.

It has 37 branches across the country, most of them in Metro Manila.

The company hopes to have 45 clinics by end of this year.
