Korean coach leaves Ceres FC

TWO and a half years is enough for coach and technical director Cha Soungyoong of the multi-titled Ceres-La Salle FC as he finally left the Bacolod-based club for good.

“I lived my life here [with Ceres] all these years for football like a movie,” Soungyooung wrote in his FB account. He left for Korea yesterday to improve himself while thankful of the opportunity given to him by Ceres FC owner Leo Rey Yanson and to the team.

“I have lots of experiences working with Filipino and foreign football players who followed and believed in me. I really had a happy and well spent moment with these people, he said.

To all Ceres FC players, always remember that nobody is stronger than the team. Don’t give up but, create a new history in Philippine football,”

As of press time, Ceres FC management has yet to release its official statement on Soungyoong's departure. (HGD)
