DABAWENYOS will surely enjoy roaming around the malls during the Araw ng Dabaw 2015 as artists from different networks will be here to join the festivities.
Starting this Friday, March 13, until Monday, March 16, the country's three major television networks will be bringing in some of their most sought-after artists.
On March 13, at 6 p.m., Kapamilya singer-actress Angeline Quinto will have her mall tour at The Annex, SM City Davao. The 25-year-old Star Power 2011 Grand Champion is expected to belt out some of her most popular songs like "Patuloy and Pangarap", her winning piece, and "Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon", the official soundtrack of the Bea Alonzo-Paulo Avelino starrer of the same title aired over ABS-CBN primetime block last year.
However, if you are from the northern part of the city, you can still catch shows of other artists. At 5 p.m. on the said day, Muzik's Kool's Juliet Bahala will perform live at The Fountain Court of SM Lanang Premier. After her show, former Pilipinas Got Talent Season 1 finalist Markki Stroem will render sexy jazz numbers for his Dabawenyo followers.
On March 14, it will be an afternoon of alternative rock music at The Fountain Court of SM Lanang Premier as Davao-based musician Jad Montenegro and Pinoy band "Hale" will perform at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.
On March 15, more artists will celebrate the much-anticipated celebration. At the Activity Center of NCCC Mall of Davao, Kapamilya stars Jolina Magdangal-Escueta, Sharlene San Pedro, Diego Loyzaga, Jairus Aquino, and Daryl Ong will visit at 4 p.m.
Meanwhile, at the Open Parking C of SM City Davao, there will be an ABS-CBN Kapamilya Karavan at 4 p.m. And if you are a fan of the famous Kapuso "love-team" TomDen (Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo), you may catch them at The Atrium of Gaisano Mall of Davao at 4 p.m.
On the other hand, if you are music-lover, you can jam with Davao folk artist Thea Pitogo and The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 finalist Kai Honasan at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively, at The Fountain Court of SM Lanang Premier.
On March 16, the actual day of the festival, top Kapatid stars, including Lourd de Veyra and Empoy, will bring more fun and excitement to the Araw ng Dabaw celebration as they stage a show at Gaisano Mall of Davao.
To the fans of Mr. and Mrs. Dantes (Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes), be uber excited as they will banner the Kapuso Mall Show at 3 p.m. at the Activity Center of Abreeza Mall.
And to the fans and followers of the Asia's Songbird, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, you can hear her belt out her songs live at 5 p.m. at The Annex, SM City Davao.
Apart from this line-up of guests, Dabawenyos and other merrymakers can likewise enjoy great discounts in all these malls.
