Time for play: An a-maze-ing experience

OPENED in 2008, Playmaze claims to have the longest indoor slide in Cebu. The three colorful slides parallel to each other, connected to a multi-tiered soft-play jungle gym, is easily the kids’ favorite when going there. “Kids love that,” exclaims supervisor Ricci Tamo-o.

The indoor playground lives up to its name of being a “maze”. There, kids can enjoy climbing, crawling and running around, and squealing in glee as they go through tube slides down to a pool of balls. Toddlers can have their share of fun, too, since there’s a separate area for them with smaller playthings suitable for their size.

“It’s fun. It’s safe, and parents don’t have to worry leaving their kids here,” Ricci sums up. “It’s also a good avenue for kids to meet friends, learn how to socialize, sweat and exercise—a break from their video games and other techie stuff they’re into.”

Playmaze is on the ground level of Parkmall in Mandaue City.
