Trike driver shot dead by men on motorcycle

A 49-YEAR-OLD tricycle driver was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding assailants in Barangay Linao-Lipata, Minglanilla past 3 p.m. last Tuesday.

Supt. Dexter Calacar, the town police commander, identified the fatality as Larry Oroso Gomata, who was attacked a few meters from his house.

He was brought to the Minglanilla District Hospital, where he was declared dead.

His 19-year-old daughter was reportedly the one who brought the culprits to his father after they asked where he is.

She said she failed to see that the back rider was carrying a gun. (KAL)
