Waterfront personnel get int'l certification

WATERFRONT Insular Hotel Davao’s officers and supervisors were recently awarded the Certified Guest Service Professionals (CGSP) by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (Ahlei).

Property Head Trainer Fritzie Gay Dulla; Marketing Communications Officer Eva Ces Gamalong; Sales Account Manager Christina Sothrea Boukos; and F&B Management Trainee Maria Fe Isidor all attended the Guest Service Gold Program held in Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino last July 27 to 28, 2017 along with 27 others from the Waterfront group.

“This batch of 31 participants achieved higher scores compared to previous batches, and it’s also the first time in the Philippine Hotel Industry for a participant to achieve a perfect score,” says Shyrra Lou Martina Jadulco, Group Peers’ Training and Development Manager.

One’s status as Certified Guest Service Professional comes with a certificate and a lapel pin and entitles bearers to use the nominal letters, CGSP, after their names on business cards and all correspondence.

More importantly, this shows that they are both committed and capable of providing utmost guest satisfaction – a significant trait that gets you far in the hospitality business.

Waterfront Hotels and Casinos believe that you need well qualified people to deliver quality standards and, hence, continue to strengthen their quality of service by enhancing their human resources.

Leading in hospitality training around the world, Ahlei is globally recognized with about 15,000 member associations. Through Asia World Hospitality, its global partner in the Philippines, the institute offers extensive trainings and certifications to hotel professionals in the country year-round. (PR)
