Pagadian City cop wounded in gun attack

A POLICEMAN assigned with the Explosive Ordnance Division (EOD) of the Pagadian City Police Office was wounded in a gun attack around 3 p.m. Thursday, October 26, in Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City in Zamboanga del Sur province.

Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula identified the victim as Police Officer 2 Glocer Urot, 35.

Police said Urot was sitting outside his auntie's house when shot by one of two men riding on a motorcycle.

Urot sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was hospitalized for treatment.

The Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered seven empty shells of caliber .45 pistol from the crime scene.

Investigation continues to the identity the suspects.
