Amesco holds medical mission

LAST Sunday, October 22, 2017, Amesco Drug Corporation conducted “Serbisyong Amesco Para Sa Tao,” a Medical Mission at the People’s Park of Davao City as part of its 60th anniversary celebration.

A total of 572 children, adults and senior citizens were able to avail of various free services such as medical consultations, FBS, nerve and bone screenings, medicine, and even free haircut, massage, games and dance exercises.

The event was made possible by the generous support of more than 60 pharmaceutical companies, volunteer doctors from Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), as well as the City Mayor’s Office, Vice Mayor’s Office, Councilors Mabel Sunga Acosta and Edgar Ibuyan, as well as the officials and constituents of Barangays 3-A, 4-A, 7-A, 9-A and 33-D.

Amesco Drug has been serving Dabawenyos since 1957 as Allied Drug Co. Inc. The owners then expanded into the medical supplies business and started Allied Medical Equipment and Supply Corporation (Amesco) in 1980, and later merged the two companies as Amesco Drug Corporation, which presently has 16 branches in Davao City.
