Police Station 8 gets donated lot

A 200 SQUARE-METER lot was donated by Gardenville Subdivision Inc. (GSI), a residential firm owned by Villasor family, to Police Station 8 in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.

Senior Inspector Wilfredo Benoman Jr., head of Police Station 8, said on Monday, October 30, they signed a deed of donation yesterday with GSI represented by Adrian V. Lizares in rites witnessed by Superintendent Roderick Minong, officer-in-charge of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).

Benoman said the station has been occupying the 1,055 square-meter lot owned by the Villasor family for almost 30 years now.

The Villasor family plans to sell the lot, but provided a 200 square-meter space for the permanent site of the police station.

Benoman said they were advised to leave the present building within a year to prepare for the construction of a two-storey police station.
