A 40-YEAR-OLD American national was arrested for allegedly beating his Filipina live-in partner in Bolinawan, Carcar City last Tuesday.
Carcar City Acting Police Chief Randy Korret identified the suspect as Jose Raul Flores of Miami, Florida.
Police implemented the warrant of arrest issued by Cebu City Regional Trial Court Branch 20 Judge James Stewart Ramon Himalaloan for violating the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act. Bail was set at P20,000.
Flores’ estranged partner accused him of beating and verbally abusing her sometime in June last year. (KAL)
