Zamboanga public market rehab set

THE Zamboanga City Government is set to commence the rehabilitation of the main public market starting this month.

Assistant City Administrator Cesar Raz said that two of the eight projects under the scope of the main public market rehabilitation were submitted to the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) on October 26.

Raz said the two projects up for bidding with the BAC are the P6.7 million rehabilitation and improvement of the fish and dry sections (buildings A, B, and C), and the P5.35 million construction of stalls.

He said that two units comfort rooms along the Philippine Ports Authority wall will be also constructed.

He said the remaining projects are in the process of completing their respective building plans and estimates preparation. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
