POLICE have identified the second person who helped Jessie Largo kill 22-year-old John Ronli Calizar.
After knowing the second suspect’s identity, local police filed a supplemental affidavit before the Talisay City Prosecutor’s Office earlier this week.
An attempted murder charge was also filed by the police against the second suspect, said SPO1 Cecilio Miñoza of the Talisay City Police Station.
The police refused to identify the suspect at this point as they monitor his presence in the city.
Miñoza said the second suspect was positively identified by two witnesses who came forward following Largo’s death last month.
Last month, local police led by Supt. Jason Villamater and operatives of the Regional Special Operations Group 7 conducted an operation against Largo in Barangay Dumlog, Talisay City.
The operation ended in Largo’s death after he shot one of the operatives. (JKV)
