Four favorites to binge-watch

I KNOW that some of our favorite shows made a comeback a few weeks ago but I'm pretty sure not everyone had the time to watch them all yet. So, now that we're on a holiday break, it's time to splurge on our favorite series without the guilt of waking up late the day after.

And if you ever ran out of anything to watch, we won't let you just sleep all these holidays off, here's a short rundown of series that give both the chills and entertains.

Sense8

This is for the readers who haven't started with this yet because unfortunately, the Wachowskis formally announced they were cancelled early this year (which was a huge heartbreak to all of their fans worldwide).

Sense8 is like the dream series. It's weaved perfectly to accommodate the masculine, feminine, and the LGBTQ society. This is a story of eight 20-somethings with very varied looks and personalities from across the world who were born on the same date and were gifted with complex connection.

What they have could be a disadvantage for someone who lives the perfect life in India and is about to get married to a businessman and his multi-billion company but confuses her affection to her 'sensate' who comes from a chaotic family involved in organized crimes in Germany. But they all managed to be of help to everyone anyway.

They are the perfect squad goals and they love their fans as much as they value each other. So much so that they announced a two-hour series finale that would air in 2018 so we could all have that *yes* closure.

Stranger Things

This series must have been born when Steven Spielberg's E.T. and Stephen King's IT bumped and humped each other in a bar. But that doesn't diminish how good this hit American science fiction-horror web television series is (hello Steve!).

Set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, the first season focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the town including the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities who helps the missing boy's friends in their own search. The second season, titled Stranger Things 2, is set a year after the first, and deals with attempts of the characters to return to normal and consequences from that season.

Riverdale

Riverdale is an American television series based on the characters by Archie Comics. The series was adapted for The CW by Archie Comics' chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

The series is produced by CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television, in association with Berlanti Productions and Archie Comics. This is originally conceived as a feature film adaptation for Warner Bros.

Pictures, the idea was re-imagined as a television series for Fox. In 2015, development on the project moved to The CW, where the series was ordered for a pilot. Filming takes place in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The series features an ensemble cast based on the characters of Archie Comics, with KJ Apa in the role of Archie Andrews; Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, the series' narrator. The cast also features Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom. Other characters in the series include Fred Andrews, Alice Cooper, FP Jones, and Hermione Lodge, the parents of Archie, Betty, Jughead, and Veronica respectively.

Friends

This show is like The Beatles of television series, it was so popular that it aired for ten years starting 1994 to 2004. Everyone seems to love that its finale episode was aired live in New York Town Square.

With an ensemble cast starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, the show revolves around six 20-30 something friends living in Manhattan. The series was produced by Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. The original executive producers were Kevin S. Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.
