A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy died on Thursday morning, November 2, after he was hit by a tricycle in Barangay Mabuli, Tabogon, Cebu.
Police identified the fatality as Alexis Abayon Lepala, who succumbed to injuries in the head and other parts of his body.
Tricycle driver Mark Aton, 23, was arrested.
Investigation showed Aton failed to notice the boy, who was held by his father while crossing the street. The boy was running toward his mother, who was standing on the other side.
The boy fell hard, after he was hit by the tricycle.
Aton drove Lepala to the Cebu Provincial Hospital in Bogo City, where the doctor declared the boy dead on arrival. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
