POLICE arrested four suspected drug pushers in two separate drug bust operations in Davao City over the weekend.
The latest incident was conducted at around 3:10 p.m. Sunday on Artiaga St. in Barangay 36-D where Sta. Ana police, led by its station commander Supt. Royina S. Garma in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested the suspects identified as Janalyn Asa-ali, 30, and Roman Manero, 30, both of the same place.
The suspects were arrested after they received the P500 marked money from a police operative who acted as a buyer.
Also seized from the suspects' possession were 21 sachets of suspected shabu with estimated street value of P20,500.
The suspects are now detained at the Sta. Ana Police Station.
The other buy-bust operation was conducted around 10:40 p.m, Saturday at Soliman in Barangay Tomas Monteverde in Agdao where operatives from Sta. Ana arrested two drug suspects identified as Cerefino Ulmilio, 20, and Jason Memoracion, 19, construction work, both of Barangay Sto. Niño in Agdao.
Police seized six sachets of suspected marijuana and the P100 drug bust money.
Both suspects are also detained at the Sta. Ana Police Station.
All four arrested suspects are facing charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of the Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
