2 wounded in Danao shooting incident

TWO persons, including a minor, were wounded in a shooting incident in Poblacion, Danao City last Thursday dawn. Gilbert Aranco Avila, 24, and Ivy Luchavez, 16, were walking to their homes when they were attacked by two men on board a motorcycle.

The suspects, identified only as Jaguar and Peter, were reportedly members of Datom Squad, a gang.

They escaped arrest.

Avila suffered a gunshot wound in the back, while Luchavez got hit in the left leg.

They were rushed to public hospital in the city.

The attack was believed to be gang-related. (KAL)
