A NEW office that issues police clearances will open in Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) early next month.

Senior Supt. Joel Doria, CCPO director, said the office will be in the new building on Gorordo Ave.

The Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP)-Data Center, Inc. (DCI) will operate the office.

The company offers security features like issuance of card and code to assure the clearance’s authenticity.

DBP-DCI channel manager Maggi Ortega said the new features will be introduced first in Cebu City and will be cheaper than other police clearances. (KAL)
