FASHION-SAVVY kabalens now have more chance to score the trendiest outfits as the much-loved Swedish retail clothing company---H&M---opened its doors at SM City Pampanga on Friday.
The 1,800-square meter fashion heaven is the third store in the province and the 32nd in the country, to date.
The newly-opened store carries the full assortment of apparel and accessories for ladies, men, teens, and kids.
The sports line will also be made available, along with a few of their “Conscious” products—H&M’s sustainable fashion line for the mindful shopper.
The store also features H&M’s garment clothing program, The Loop, where customers can donate used clothes, and in return get a discount voucher they can use for their next purchase.
Speaking of discounts, over 900 local shoppers, eager to take their style to the next level, flocked to the opening event of the store, all in an effort to win exclusive gift cards worth up to P5,000.
Raymond Zulueta, who came all the way from Cabiao, Nueva Ecija was the first in line. He shared that he came as early as November 2 to not miss his chance of becoming the lucky winner.
“I was already here yesterday, and I did not leave because I really wanted to be the first one in line ahead of other early birds. I was really excited for the opening of H&M here at SM City Pampanga,” he said.
Once the store opened, Zulueta was quick to snatch the hottest apparel, jeans, shirts, and sweaters worth P5,000.
Other thrilled shoppers who queued early morning got gift cards valued between P200-P2,500, along with other exciting H&M merchandise.
H&M head of communications Dan Mejia noted that the store, touted as the biggest in Pampanga, will soon unveil its holiday collection at the newly-opened branch.
“By the end of November, customers can see our full-blown holiday collection: sweaters, knitted wears, cardigans, woven shirts, and other must-haves of the season,” he said.
“We look forward to providing our shoppers from this side of the province the inspiration to make their own personal style statement through H&M’s high-quality fashion at the best price,” he added.
SM City Pampanga Mall Manager Aaron Monteverde, for his part, expressed gratitude to the global fashion brand for bringing its catwalk-to-retail fashion mission in the City of San Fernando.
“We are so proud to carry the biggest store not only in the province, but in the whole region. We’re really happy that finally, H&M is now here at SM City Pampanga,” he relayed.
