MARKO Mendoza bagged the top honors in the Cebu Country Club (CCC) 2017 Men’s October Monthly Medal Tournament.

Mendoza, a 9-handicapper, finished with a net 68 to reign in the Class A, beating many-time club champion and 4-handicapper Eric Deen by two points.

Deen bagged second place after winning over Alvin Alazas in a countback. Alazas also beat Nonoy Tirol and Jovi Neri in a countback for third place.

Jack Huang topped Class B after scoring 66, outlasting Kunio Tanaka and Washington Lim by a point. Tanaka took second place and Lim placed third after a countback.

In Class C, Jose Abellana edged out Yoshimitsu Sakai in a countback to win the division. Abellana and Sakai both carded 69, thus, the countback. The third place went to Steve Maniquisq, who scored 70.

Chito Misa, meanwhile, scored 71 to win Class D. Lawyer Bal Estenzo fired 72 and beat Thomas Ware in a countback for second place. (RSC)
