BCPO checks quality service performance of police stations

THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) collected survey forms from 10 police stations to check their quality service performance in providing assistance to individuals needing it.

The forms are given to those who are willing to evaluate the personnel of a police station with satisfactory and unsatisfactory ratings.

Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, public information officer of BCPO, said the survey is intended for “check and balance” to see if there is a need for improvement.

For the month of October, 704 individuals filled out the survey forms in all 10 police stations.

Of the total number, 643 were satisfied while 61 were not happy.

Vargas said the number of evaluators depends on the number of individuals that voluntarily assessed the performance of the policemen. It is not based on the number of residents in a particular area.

The Police Community Relations (PCR) is gathering the forms on a monthly basis.
