AN IMPROVISED bomb exploded Tuesday night in Barangay Kulay Bato, Lamitan City, Basilan province, the police reported Wednesday.
The Basilan Police Provincial Office said no one was hurt when the bomb, which was placed near the gate of a construction firm, went off.
Another improvised bomb was recovered by the responding policemen near the gate of 2M construction firm.
The 2M construction firm is currently undertaking road construction project of the government in the town of Al-Barka.
Police investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators.
