Sa pagkakaron, ginatapos pa ang konstruksyon sa University of the Philippines (UP) Mintal alang sa maong torneyo.
Samtang sa 2018 himuon na sab dinhi sa siyudad ang Davao Region Athletic Association nga maoy "qualifying" alang sa maong nasyonal kompetisyon.
