A 45-YEAR-OLD man was arrested yesterday morning for allegedly shooting a security guard to death in Barangay Apas, Cebu City.
Suspect Bernardo Largo Reston was caught in Minglanilla.
He was identified as the one who shot Jojie Pelayo, 23, in Sitio Upper Panabang last Tuesday afternoon.
SPO2 Rommel Bancog, homicide investigator, said that the witness was Pelayo’s live-in partner, Aquila Bautista, who is Reston’s former girlfriend.
The suspect denied shooting Pelayo.
He said he had since accepted Pelayo’s relationship with Bautista. (KAL)
