THREE men were caught for allegedly carrying bladed weapons and illegal drugs on Wednesday afternoon, November 8, Barangay Bonbon, Aloguinsan, Cebu.
Police identified the suspects as Jerald Deluna Bonghanoy, 20; Bayani Navales Daan, 37; and John Carlo Deluna Pantajo, 18.
Seized from them were knives and 18 sachets of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu."
Suspects were seen by an informant, who then called the police station after seeing the men carrying knives.
A team of intelligence operatives went to the area and saw the suspects in the waiting shed.
The suspects ran after they noticed the police officers, but they were later caught.
Daan resisted arrest by pushing one of the officers. He was subdued. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
