UPAT ka sangang kan-anan sa Corbita Tuna Kamayan Grills sa Davao City ang temporaryo nga gisirhan sa Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Davao tungod sa underdeclaration sa ilang halin sa 2016 ug ning tuiga.
Suma ni BIR Davao Regional Director Nuzar Balatero nga ang pagsir sa mga sangang kan-anan sa Tuna Kamayan Grills sa Artiaga St., Duterte St., Matina, ug Roxas Avenue tungod sa under-declared sales sa ilang restawran nga nagkantidad og P24 million – nga dunay P18 million under-declared sales sa 2016 ug P6 million ning tuiga.
“We computed their VAT deficiency for the year 2017. The basic VAT deficiency is P684,000 and they have to come up with P752,000 so that they can pay the VAT deficiency then we reopen the four branches. We will wait until such time they can be fully paid,” suma ni Balatero.
Sa pagkakaron, nga ang restaurants gisirhan, siya nagkanayon nga magpadayon kini ilawom sa imbestigasyon ilang VAT deficiency sa 2016.
Kon di ikonsidera ang input taxes, si Balatero nagkanayon nga ang VAT deficiency mahimong naa sa minimum nga P2 million sa 2016.
Kini nga kantidad mahimong mausab depende sa resulta sa imbestigasyon.
Pinaagi sa gipaguwa nga letter of authority sila mag-imbestiga sa 2016 VAT liabilities sa magbubuhis.
Si Balatero nagklaro nga ang kantidad sa ilang VAT liability mahimong mausab o moubo kon ang taxpayer makapresenta sa dokumento sama sa purchase invoices nga nagpamatuod nga nabayad sila sa input taxes.
Suma ni Balatero, sila nag-imbestiga sa Tuna Kamayan Grills sayo ning tuiga.
Gawas sa under-declaration of sales, ang Tuna Kamayan Grills maahimong momulta sa wa pagthatag og resibo.
“They have not issued receipts so they have under-declared sales. Non-issuance (of receipts) is a separate violation. Sometimes there would just be customers who would complain or they would actually be caught not issuing. We can penalize them separately. We give penalties – first offense P10,000; second offense P20,000; third offense closure,” suma ni Balatero.
