Dusit Thani Residence Davao, dusitD2 Hotel to raise Davao’s lifestyle standard

WHILE everyone else thinks that luxurious residential complex is impossible in Davao City, the Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation (TDLC) believed otherwise as it invested in a five-star residential and hotel development, the Dusit Thani Residence Davao and dusitD2 Hotel.

Believing that the Davao market lifestyle can be upgraded, TLDC pushed for the project which recently just had its topping off ceremony last November 9, marking the formal completion of the development’s structural phase and the first milestone in the Dusit International and TLDC partnership.

“They said it is impossible. But here we are, this project will raise the bar of standard living in Davao City making it truly an international city,” TLDC CEO Tomas Lorenzo said.

The luxury residential complex, once operational in 2018 or early 2019, will be a project of many firsts: first Dusit-branded Residence in Southeast Asia, first internationally-branded mixed-use residence and hotel development, as well as the first luxury accommodation in Davao City.

The complex will house 174 spacious full-service residence units and 120 hotel rooms that reflect the elegance, simplicity, and comfort that define the Dusit signature style.

“It is a place that will blend work and leisure seamlessly with the combination of the finest amenities and world-renowned exceptional service that is distinctly Dusit. We will have a first-class destination that Davao can proudly call its own,” Lorenzo added.

Evelyn R. Singson, Vice Chair and President of the Philippine Hoteliers Incorporated (which owns and operates the Dusit franchise in the Philippines), for her part shared, that a seamless combination of traditional Thai and Filipino hospitality will be experienced while staying and living in this first-class development.

“Patrons of Dusit Thani Residence Davao will experience the fusion that will elevate the potential for both the Thai and Filipino cultures. Anybody can teach anybody to serve a cup of tea, to serve a glass of wine, but it comes down to the small things – the little touches here and there that bring out the genuineness, the heart. That makes all the difference, really,” she said.

Located at J.P. Laurel, Lanang, Davao City, the complex will showcase a 360-degree view of the city skyline and Davao Gulf, making it a true sanctuary amid a bustling cityscape.
