‘Paki’, ‘Changing Partners’ win big at Cinema One Originals Film Fest

FILMS ‘Paki’ and ‘Changing Partners’ won most of the awards at the Cinema One Originals Film Festival held on Sunday, November 19, at the Dolphy Theater, Quezon City.

Giancarlo Abrahan, director of Paki, and Dan Villegas, director of Changing Partners, won the Best Director award.

Paki won the Best Picture and Best Screenplay awards.

Changing Partners won seven other awards: Best Actor by Jojit Lorezo, Best Actress by Agot Isidro, Best Music by Vincent de Jesus, Best Editing by Marya Ignacio, Best Ensemble Acting, Audience Choice and Champion Bughaw awards.

Best Supporting Actor: Ricky Davao, Paki

Best Supporting Actress: Mae Paner, Si Chedeng at Si Apple

Best Short Film: Sorry for the Inconvenience

Best Documentary: Bundok Banahaw, Sacred and Profane

Jury Prize: Historiographika Errata

Special Mention: Si Chedeng at Si Apple
