Tax Notes: SEC adopts automated Company Registration System

THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) – Cebu Extension Office will fully adopt the online Company Registration System (CRS) starting Nov. 24, in line with the government’s initiatives to ease the conduct of doing business in the Philippines.

This means all applications for new corporations—including lending and financing—and partnerships must register only through the CRS.

The system can be accessed through crs.sec.gov.ph. The most compatible browser is Google Chrome.

For further information, please contact the CRS Hotline with the following numbers:

Company Registration and Monitoring Department (CRMD)
(02) 818-5554

Officers-in-charge

Ms. Annette Tamayo
Ms. Erly Cabatic
Ms. Bless Arceo
Ms. Ronalyn Puatu
Mr. Andrew Montesa

Applications for amendments of articles of incorporation and by-laws, change in capitalization, dissolution, and other applications are manually accepted until further notice.

Please be guided accordingly. (Source: P&A Grant Thornton)
