Adlawan rules Lapu Man-Machine race

CEBU’S top daredevil Jonjon Adlawan won the Pro Open Division of the Man and Machine Promotion’s Lapu-Lapu City Supercross last Sunday at the Mactan Newtown racetrack.

Adlawan survived the tough challenge thrown his way by JB Bacabac, defeating the Iloilo City rider by a hairline in the competition participated by nine aspiring Professional riders from all over Visayas and Mindanao.

It was Adlawan’s dominance in the final five laps and Bacabac’s third place finish in the final lap that put the Cebuano ace to the top of the pedestal. Bacabac who ruled the first five laps settled for second place and another Cebuano rider Jubenile Abellar finished third in the 450cc category race.

Meanwhile, Iloilo rider Donark Yuso stole the thunder from the Cebuanos in the Expert Open Class.
