Drainage works to solve flooding in Bulacao start

AN area in Talisay City may experience heavy traffic as a drainage project takes full swing.

The Department of Public Works and Highways 2nd District Cebu confirmed that the project has started in Bulacao, Talisay.

Engr. Leslie Anthony Molina, officer-in-charge said that while the survey is ongoing, excavation had started.

The project, which is meant to solve flooding, will elevate the area from Tabunok to Bulacao.

The P40-million contract has three sections, including Sibonga and Minglanilla.

The DPWH, including the residents, are hoping that this will finally end the flood problem in N. Bacalso Tabunok to Bulacao, Talisay City. (Aubrey Rose J. Secuya, USJ-R Intern)
