JobStreet.Com Marketing Manager Eileen Camarillo-Go cited the significance of having a high-starting salary for those who are young in the industry and are still trying to identify themselves on their chosen field.

She said that a high-paying salary encourages employees to stay in his or her job, meaning newbies can be given a chance to establish themselves and create a better career.

It is most significant to fresh graduates, who are seeking high-paying jobs, to either pay back to their parents or to those who helped them finish studies, or for the sense of entitlement after the long years of studying.

Although a single digit difference, Camarillo-Go said it is still significant considering the cost of living in the Metro Manila, from the high-paying rent and transportation to other daily expenses.
