SHOWCASING her fascinating Art Storm 2017 Holiday Collection held at the Anzani Prime at The Tinder Box in Banilad Cebu City, Gladys or G Young has created and presented her pieces, which in her own words, “are clean yet mildly distressed with imperfections thrown in.” These intricately handmade pieces are shaped by skilled artisans in 14k gold and embellished with multi-colored diamonds and gemstones—all hand-crafted for the modern woman!
“Vero” is an Italian word which means “true,” for G herself comes from a family of artists (her great-grandmother and grandmothers were jewellers then). Seeing beauty in the most unusual of subjects, G’s detailed ideas are inspired by curves, geometrical shapes, architectural details, paintings as well as sculptures.
