THE Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) warned civilians against wearing the uniform of the Philippine National Police (PNP), especially in inappropriate videos on social media. CCPO spokesperson Insp. Llewelyn Reyes said they can file a case against these people before the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board. “It will greatly hamper the continuing efforts of the PNP organization in regaining public trust and confidence,” he said. Employees of local government units, he said, must also seek authority from the PNP when they use the police’s uniform. (JOB)
