THE late Cebu-born Bishop Christian Vicente Noel will be laid to rest in the Diocese of Talibon in Bohol.
Cebu Auxiliary Bishop Dennis Villarojo said yesterday that Noel’s remains will be brought to the Blessed Trinity Cathedral in Talibon on Nov. 30, the same date as that of Noel’s episcopal ordination.
He will be buried on Dec. 4.
Even though Noel was born and ordained in Cebu, Villarojo said he will be buried in Talibon as he served as the first bishop there when the diocese was first created on Jan. 9, 1986.
Noel, 80, died last Sunday. (JKV)
