TWENTY graduates of 17 institutions from all over Mindanao topped the Secondary Level of the September 2017 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) with the University of Mindanao leading the pack with a total of five from its Davao City and Tagum City campuses.
Nine more graduates from six Mindanao schools topped the Elementary Level of the 2017 LET exams, with the Bukidnon State College-Malaybalay getting three topnotchers at fourth, eight, and ninth place; and the University of Southeastern Philippines-Davao City getting two at sixth and ninth place.

In the Secondary Level, UM-Davao got three topnotchers including the first spot, Rhoy Autentico Omega, and second place Brian Monpon Baan. The third one ranked seventh.
UM Tagum also got two topnotchers on seventh place.
The Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology got two at sixth and 10th place.
Getting one topnotcher each are: Mindanao State University-General Santos City; Don Carlos Polytechnic College in Don Carlos, Bukidnon; Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur; Father Saturnino Urios University in Butuan City; Philippine Normal University-Mindanao in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur; Mindanao University of Science and Technology in Cagayan de Oro City; Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City; Notre Dame of Marbel University in Marbel, South Cotabato; University of Southern Mindanao-Kidapawan City; University of Southern Mindanao-Kabacan, Cotabato; Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology; Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, and; Southern Phils. Agri-Business, Marine and Aquatic School of Technology-Mati, Davao Oriental.
The other schools that had a topnotcher each in the Elementary Level are: Jose Rizal Memorial State University-Dapitan City; University of Southern Mindanao-Kabacan, Cotabato; Western Mindanao State University-Zamboanga City, and; Mindanao State University-General Santos.
