Misamis Oriental’s legal consultations set on Dec. 15

THE Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental will conduct a day-long free legal consultations, assistance and notarizations of legal documents at the Capitol Grounds here on December 15.

Provincial Legal Officer lawyer Cerillo Neil Pacana said the province will give chance to those who could barely afford to seek for legal advice.

“We will have this program, a one-day program for the grassroots this coming December 15. We will give them advice and make them affidavits for free,” Pacana said.

Pacana said at least 30 lawyers of different expertise have signified to join the project.

“If they have concerns on birth registration, land conflicts, among others, we will have lawyers to answer their questions,” he added.

Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano lauded the initiative of the Provincial Legal Office.

“I really appreciate the initiative of our Provincial Legal Office spearheaded by Atty. Pacana. This is where and when our poor people can actually release all their burdens and be guided by our experts in the legal field,” Emano said.
