BURGER BAR opened to much buzz and burger love in Nov 2012, being Manila’s first full service burger restaurant offering handcrafted patties that brought the local burger scene to a whole new level.
In less than a year, it spun off as 8Cuts Burger Blends offering the same menu in UP Town Center and 6 more followed with the latest outlet in Salcedo Village Makati.
Now, in line with all its “li’l bro,” Burger Bar was renamed to 8Cuts, which is a reference to the eight cuts of beef used in the blends— chuck, rib eye, short rib, sirloin, brisket, hanger, flank and ox tail. All patties are made in-house from 100% pure U.S. beef.
The Ox Blend patty, with an intense, umami flavor, from a combination of flank, oxtail and rib eye, is the newest addition to its four hit burger blends from the original Burger Bar, the House Blend (short rib and rib eye), the Beef Bomb (chuck and short rib), the Big Game (hanger and brisket), and The Steak Cut (sirloin and chuck).
With its handcrafted process using the highest quality U.S. beef, each patty is guaranteed freshly ground, custom-blended and seared to order and paired in timeless combinations as well as ingredients of the moment, this is what sets apart an 8Cuts burger.
The casual burger joint highlights the Blend Kitchen, an open kitchen that showcases the authenticity and freshness of its burgers offering a full view for diners to appreciate its unique process of “blend-grind-press-griddle-build.”
For sides, 8Cuts offers fun options for fries lovers as well as the addicting crowd favorite, onion rings. A wide variety of beverages, sodas and flavored milkshakes are offered, plus wine, beer and slushed cocktails. 8Cuts also offers Caked Shakes, in red velvet, chocolate truffle, and other interesting flavor options.
The restaurant makes use of industrial and rustic elements such as wood and cast iron taken from the architecture of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, and the electric aqua and orange colors and neon lights of Santa Monica, California to create a buzzing family-friendly eatery.
With a fun setting and enjoyable music, experiential dining and the friendly 8Cuts service team on the floor, 8Cuts Burger Blends is the unmatched go-to spot for discriminating burger lovers in the neighborhood.
The name may have changed but the much enjoyed burger experience, including its beloved playlist, is here to stay.
