PRO 7 trains cops on preventing cyber trafficking

FORTY-SEVEN police personnel attended a week-long seminar where they were taught how to help protect women and children against online sex trafficking. “This is to enhance their knowledge on cases of violence against women and children, which include cyber crimes,” said Chief Insp. Marylou Cuizon, chief of the Women and Children’s Protection Center of the Police Regional Office 7. She said that with their information drive, they hope women will know their rights and the laws that penalize crimes against women and children. (JOB)
