Robotballoons returns onstage

ROBOTBALLOONS, one of Cebu’s finest new wave/alternative pop bands during the 1990s, will reunite for a gig in Cebu on Dec. 16 at Draft Punk Skewers & Brewers Bar. It will the band’s first live performance after 13 years.

Robotballoons are Xiomara Demetrio Glindmeyer (vocals and rhythm guitar), Jonathan Tejano (lead guitar), Philip Muana (bass guitar) and Thad Glindmeyer (drums).

The band will be performing along with The Spirals, Worry-Free TV and Purple Helmets. The event is presented by Draft Punk: Skewers & Brewers and The SonicPop Group.

Formed in 1995, Robotballoons was the brainchild of then-drummer Blair Kabahar, Glindmeyer and Tejano as a vehicle for Glindmeyer to start playing guitar, having fronted Xiomara and the Superheroes. (PR)
