What’s Christmas like at Seda?

GENEROUS.

Seda Abreeza always kicks off the Yuletide season with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Witnessing the first glow of the tree are the “stars of the season”- the recipients of the season’s fundraising campaign. If you were present, you’d see how everyone’s faces, especially the beneficiaries, light up with joy.

Filled with gratitude.

This year’s gathering with the print and digital media was small and intimate. Quite unusual but no less special, I must say. What’s nice about it is the scene is more relaxed where everyone knows everyone. Laughter and cheers are heard in every corner of the small room and yes, we all had the chef’s specially prepared food to ourselves.

Oh, we got to take home loads of gifts from hour hosts. It was their way of saying thank you for being their partner in the hotel.

Thank you, too, dear Seda. My heart is filled with gratitude for you as well.

Delicious.

I have always been a fan of this hotel’s spread. It’s never over the top in terms of quantity, just the right amount of dishes. It’s quality that counts, so the diners get the full flavor in every bite.

We got first dibs on the holiday offerings of Seda and I must say it will be a gastronomic journey all the way to the first second of 2018. How else would you want to welcome the New Year but filled with content.

Misto has Yuletide Set Meals available for lunch and dinner from December 2017 to January 2018, which includes an indulging three-course set that goes with the season. The menu options feature dishes as Bacon-Wrapped Pork Loin with Cherries, Gravy, Pan-seared Tuna with Champagne Cream Sauce, and Black Forest Trifle.

On December 24th, Misto diners will have a very Merry Christmas with these on the buffet spread: Seda Abreeza’s classic Slow-Cooked Roasted Angus Beef Short Plate with Rosemary Gravy, Orange and Madeira-Glazed Ham with Raisin Sauce, Lechon, Bourbon-Glazed Pork Belly Chunks, Cajun-Spiced Chicken, and Warm Camembert Brioche.

Desserts will be Rustic Black Forest, Caramel Apple Crisp Cheesecake, Tiramisu Yule Log, Strawberry and White Chocolate Mousse, Red Velvet Peppermint Cake, and Snowman Choco Cupcake.

Exciting.

On Christmas Eve you get to live musical entertainment and to liven the evening even more, you get a chance to win prizes in a raffle draw.

If you don't get to take home an extra prize, don't worry, you can make a wish when you meet and greet Santa at the lobby on Christmas morning. He has a bag of treats for everyone.

On New Year’s Eve, you can party “Under the Stars”. But before the clock strikes twelve enjoy Misto’s Media Noche dinner buffet. It includes free-flowing drinks and cocktails from 7PM to 1AM. For added glitter, there are exciting games to play and prizes to grab for the entire night.

Get up and dance your way to 2018!
