A 37-YEAR-OLD businessman, who is wanted for rape, was arrested on Thursday afternoon, December 14, in Sitio Ages, Barangay Poblacion, Compostela, Cebu.
Suspect Glenn Perales Dizon was caught by the joint tracker team of Liloan Police Station and Compostela Police Station led by their respective commanders, Chief Inspector Randy Korret and Senior Inspector Jonafe Vergara.
Dizon has pending rape case before Mandaue City Regional Trial Court Branch 86. The warrant of arrest was signed by Assisting Judge Fruto Teodorico III.
Korret said the accused's victim is a 13-year-old girl.
No bail was set for Dizon, who will be turned over to the court, which will then issue an order to commit him to a Bureau of Jail Management and Penology facility. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
