Class '94 bowlers take No.1 spot in Bracket A

CLASS '94 snatched the number spot from Class '97 after registering its highest three-game set with 1,552 pinfalls in Bracket A on Day 7 of the ongoing 2017-2018 Nohsaai Bowling Festival for Unity.

The bowlfest is hosted by Negros Occidental High School Class ’93 at Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

Class '94 jumped two places higher in the ranking with a 483-525-544 behind Toto Flores, Katoy Deocadez, and Joms Sevilla.

Former bracket leader Class '97 went down at second, 1,471, which trailed by 33 pfs the number one team, as Class '85 made it in the tough three with 1,521 followed by Class '66, 1,478, and Class '96, 1,417.

In other brackets, Class '95 recorded the highest triple with 510-522-526 (1,558) to secure the ladder advantage in Bracket B as Class '70 snatched the lead with 443-483-472 (1,397) in Bracket C.

Completing the Top Five in each bracket are Class '94 - 3,045; Class '97 - 3,012; Class '85 - 2,986; Class '66 - 2,974; Class '96 - 2,895 in Bracket A; Class '95 - 3,022; Class '99 - 2,914; Class '80 - 2,874; Class '89 - 2,829; Class '87 - 2,805 in Bracket B; and Class '70 - 2,702; Class '86 - 2,695; Class '67 - 2,625; Class '88 - 2,595; and Class '92 - 2,565.

This five-man duckpin league is headed by director Alex Fantilanan of Class ’93 under the leadership of incoming Silver Jubilee alumni over-all chairman Citoy Taño.

Games resumes next year on January 6 at 5 p.m. (HGD)
