AirAsia to launch 3 domestic flights in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT -- The Philippines AirAsia is set to launch flights to Palawan, Iloilo, and Tacloban on January 26, 2018.

Captain Darren Acorda, Philippines AirAsia chief pilot, said this during the launching of the carrier’s Clark to Caticlan (Boracay) Friday.

Clark-Puerto Princesa and Clark—Iloilo routes will operate three times a week or every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday while Clark to Tacloban route is every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

“AirAsia believes in Clark. We established our base operations here and launched commercial flights in 2012 with only two planes and now we have a fleet of 17 jets and we are aiming to expand and grow operation here in the coming years,” Acorda said.

For Clark-Caticlan flights, AirAsia aircraft departs Clark at 1:50 p.m. and arrives in Caticlan at 3:05 p.m.

AirAsia marked its return to Clark with the launching of flights to Davao and Kalibo from Clark International Airport.

Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) President Alexander Cauguiran welcome the return of AirAsia in Clark.

He urged executives to mount flights from Clark to Thailand, Taiwan and Japan.

Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo lauded the AirAsia for mounting more flights in Clark airport.

He vowed to support the programs of AirAsia and CIAC for Clark airport.

AirAsia is offering promo fares for Clark-Caticlan from as low as P1,566 now available for booking at airasia.com until December 31 valid for travel between December 18 2017 to January 8 2018.
