Man, drug surrenderer arrested for robbery

TWO persons were arrested for robbery in separate incidents in Bacolod City on Monday, December 19.

Archie Facilio, 37, of Villa Lourdes, Barangay Pahanocoy, was caught inside the rented room of Noel Figueroa, 31, on 14th Lacson Street, Barangay 7 at 11:30 a.m.

The police recovered stolen items from Facilio, including two pairs of slippers, a cellular phone, phone tablet, several cellular chargers and headphones, a teargas, and a flashlight totaling P5,000.

Facilio suffered a head injury after he was mobbed by bystanders. He was brought to a hospital.

Meanwhile, a drug surrenderer was arrested at Granada Heights Subdivision, Barangay Granada at 1:30 p.m. after he was caught stealing fruits amounting to P5,000 from Erwin Cristales, 69, and Madelyn Dioso, 38.

Collared was Peter Patriarca, 33, of Glendale Homes Subdivision, Barangay Granada while his companion Jonnel Badana, 35, of Barangay Granada, also a drug surrenderer, managed to escape.

Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana, head of Police Station 5, said theft charges will be filed against Patriarca.

Recovered from Patriarca were a motorcycle, 32 pieces of fruits, and a 22-inch bolo.
